Hi - I am completely new so I would be most grateful for a pointer in relation to setting up the real ground textures.

I have seen the following on the help documentation, but I don't understand where I use the AO image ie where I plug it in?

Any help would be most appreciated.

albedo = diffuse

ao = ambient occlusion

height = for displacement or bump

normal= for displacement or bump (using a normal map in between)

roughness = reflection glossiness

specular level = reflection amount

Thank you

Hi Mark,

sorry for the late reply! The AO map is not a must-use map, it´s a can-use map if you want to enhance the dark /shadowed areas in a material or give it more contrast. You can also use it for the reflection channel to reduce reflection in the gaps.

Hope this helps.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Best regards,
