Forsythia Bushes is a set of 10 shrubs from the upcoming Real Shrubs bundle. The 10 model variations include different sizes and combinations of flowers and leaves and they can be further randomized and animated with the GrowFX plugin (available separately). Formats include 3DS MAX, GrowFX, Sketchup, Blender, Cinema 4D, FBX and OBJ, plus support for the renderers vray, corona renderer, octane render, scanline and FStorm (all 3DS MAX).

Forsythia Bushes is a set of 10 shrubs from the upcoming Real Shrubs bundle. The 10 model variations include different sizes and combinations of flowers and leaves and they can be further randomized and animated with the GrowFX plugin (available separately). Formats include 3DS MAX, GrowFX, Sketchup, Blender, Cinema 4D, FBX and OBJ, plus support for the renderers vray, corona renderer, octane render, scanline and FStorm (all 3DS MAX). The plant models are based on a GrowFX procedural model and include 10 model variations in two seasons, blossoming (early spring) and green leaves (summer). The textures include several variations for the leaves and petals, scanned from real world plants. All models are prepared as scenes for each renderer in 3Ds Max 2012 and above.

Wind Animation
BREATH LIFE INTO YOUR SCENES
All of the shrubs in the GrowFX version are prepared with wind FX. You can easily animate each shrub with wind, change the wind strength, turbulence and more from subtle to stormy. This feature requires the GrowFX plugin for 3ds Max from Exlevel. More information can be found on the Exlevel website.
Spring and Summer
CHANGE FLOWERS AND LEAVES PER SEASON
The GrowFX version of Forsythia has branches for the yellow flowers, which blossom in early Spring and for the green leaves which appear in mid summer. You can turn ON / OFF both branches to adapt each shrub to your needs and season. More information about GrowFX can be found on the here.

A great addition to my ‘green’ library. Bushes like these make meadows more realistic in my opinion and the variation in color and shape make them very versatile. What I also very much like is the way the bushes are presented, so you can easily transform them into VRAY proxys for use with larger scenes.

This is another great bush model from Vizpark. Along with Skimmia Japonica, this is great adition to plant library. Again, highly detailed so you can use it for closeups, with variation in shape, size and material. In fact, it would be great if this is beggining of serie of bush/shrub models from VP, maybe whole volume, prepared for Forrest Pack too, something like Real Trees and other volumes they made…
